AstroUnikon ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: mobile number (for login via OTP), name, email, date/time/place of birth, gender.
Payment data: transaction IDs, amounts, payment status. We never store card numbers or CVV — all payments are processed via Razorpay.
Consultation data: chat messages, call duration, astrologer-customer session metadata. Message content is encrypted at rest.
Device data: device model, OS, app version, IP address, and usage logs for security and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Data

Authenticate your identity (OTP login).
Connect you with astrologers and process consultation billing.
Send service updates, offers (you can opt out anytime).
Prevent fraud, abuse, and ensure platform integrity.
Improve our services through anonymized analytics.

3. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your data. We share limited data only with:

Astrologers — only your first name and birth chart details you choose to share during a consultation.
Payment processors (Razorpay) — for transaction settlement.
SMS gateway (MSG91) — for OTP delivery.
Legal authorities — only when compelled by valid legal process.

4. Data Retention

Account data: as long as your account is active. Chat/call records: 12 months unless legally required longer. You may request deletion anytime via Contact.

5. Your Rights

You can view, edit, download, or delete your personal data by contacting our support team. We'll respond within 30 days.

6. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, and industry-standard access controls. Despite best efforts, no system is 100% secure — please use strong passwords and protect your OTP.

7. Children

AstroUnikon is for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes

Material changes will be announced via email/SMS 7 days before taking effect.
